ADDITIONAL NOTES:
The original “Queen Of Disques” painting drawn by Timothy Phillips was supposed to be the cover artwork and it took Gothic Records three attempts to make cover appear correctly; both times featured the ABSU logo cut off, as the color contrast was very weak as well. The full name of this release is "Barathrum: Visita Interiora Terrae Rectificando Invenies Occultum Lapidem," which is an alchemical motto that translates to "Visit the interior of the earth and purifying you will find the hidden stone", and refers to a process of internal spiritual purification. Produced by ABSU and Gothic Records. Executive production by Osmose Productions. Recorded in 1993. Original CD by Gothic Records was limited to 900 copies and did not feature either the band's logo nor the album's title on it. However, there is also a Gothic Records version with the album title on the front cover. Picture LP limited to 800 copies. (Bestial Onslaught Productions - 200 copies including a shirt and a patch) Re-released by Dark Symphonies in 2017 remastered without bonus tracks, but packaged with information from the LP box set. Re-released again by Dark Symphonies on CD without bonus tracks in 2017 and a 25th Anniversary Edition LP in 2018.
